ROLL CALL: LGBTQ+ People on IG to Follow | Jan. 24, 2022 edition
In light of certain social media platforms purposing deleting and shadow banning LGBTQ+ accounts and creators, Queer on the Street will post a round-up of LGBTQ+ accounts and creators on Instagram every Monday.
LGBTQ+ content creators can open up the world to folks who are in search of finding people similar to them. Connections made with people online either from collaborations, in the comment sections, or whatever, can lead to everlasting friendships in real life.
Supporting LGBTQ+ artists is crucial; the easiest way to support someone is to give them attention.
Here are this week's LGBTQ+ content creators on Instagram:
@kimthediamond | Artist, activist
@queensayanaomi | Performer, dancer
@nycdykemarchofficial | Official page for NYC's annual Dyke March
@sadisticboyhunter | photographer, filmmaker
@sararradin | writer
@queerfayre | Queer craft fair
@jesspetino | artist, designer, gallery manager
@jessxnyc | designer of experiences
@out.theapp | The queer friendship app
@djcillabknyc | Owner and Founder of the Haus of Medusa, DJ, Exclusive Recording Studio Owner
If you are a LGBTQ+ content creator on Instagram or know someone who should be featured, please send an email to nic@queeronthestreet.com with the subject line as "LGBTQ+ IG Content Creator" or by tagging @queeronthestreet on the content creator's IG page.
