New Trailer Released for Generation Q; Bette is Mayor of Los Angeles
Showtime’s long-awaited sequel to The L Word, titled Generation Q, is hyping itself up more than it already was.
The trailer shows Bette (played by Jennifer Beals) to be Los Angeles' first lesbian mayor -- Bette was already the power femme of the art world and now she's the mayor of Los Angeles?
The footage also shows Alice (played by Leisha Hailey) as a talkshow host and brings back beloved Shane (played by Katherine Moennig). There will also be new characters Dani Nùñez (played by Arienne Mandi), Micah Lee (played by Leo Sheng), Finley (played by Jacqueline Toboni), Sophie Suarez (played by Rosanny Zayas) and Gigi (played by Sepideh Moafi).
The L Word was set in West Hollywood; however, Generation Q is set in East Los Angeles. The series premieres Sunday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. on Showtime. Are you ready? I know I am; I've been waiting for this for the last 10 years.
