Who said that holiday movies HAVE to ALWAYS be heterosexual? Not us and certainly not Gay Hollywood, either. Snuggle up next to your honey, cat, bestie, or whatever this weekend for a binge-worth queer holiday movie marathon. In no particular order, we present:


Under the Christmas Tree (2021)


Description: Lifetime’s first lesbian holiday romance (first gay Lifetime holiday movie was The Christmas Setup (2020)). Under the Christmas Tree follows Alma (Elise Bauman) and Charlie (Tattiawna Jones) when the universe brings them together.

The Christmas House (2020)

Description: The Christmas House surrounds the drama of parents with two grown sons - one of whom is experiencing difficulty with adopting a child with his husband.

Description: In The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls, the Mitchell family competes on who has the best decorated house.

The Bitch Who Stole Christmas (2021)

Description: RuPaul’s first holiday movie that follows a cranky fashion editor and journalist. The latter is sent to a Christmas-obsessed small town with cut-throat wives, competition, and more.

Description: Haley Hollis (Laur Allen) heads home to the family ranch in an attempt to save it from closing but meets Kate (Amanda Righetti), a cute ranch hand.

Description: This is Netflix’s first Christmas film focused on a gay couple. Single All the Way follows Peter (Michael Urie) after being set up on a blind date by his mother.

Happiest Season (2020)

Description: Abby (Kristen Stewart) and Harper (Mackenzie Davis) arrive at the Harper family home for Christmas but are thrown some curveballs. Abby is ready to propose while Harper hides a huge secret.
